NEVADA MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY
MISSION STATEMENT

We will exhibit and display artifacts from the beginning of this great country to the present time. These exhibits will provide the visitor a panoramic view of our struggle to create a nation dedicated to the freedom of its' citizens, and to maintain those freedoms and independence so highly prized by those who live in the United States of America.

MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND PROGRAMS

This museum will be much more than a military museum displaying artifacts past and present. We have airplanes that fly, trucks and jeeps which are driveable, and other items that work. We will be able to provide rides in military aircraft, trucks and jeeps. We are in the process of making this museum as interactive as possible. Items which are still owned by the U.S. Government and on loan to the museum cannot be flown or driven.

NEVADA MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY is designed to honor all of our veterans, current military service personnel, and those who gave their all to keep this country free of tyranny. There will be a room set aside, within the museum, just for veterans and current military who would like to relax and talk with other service people.

The other major portion of the museum is to provide supplemental educational programs for our youth. The following clubs have been or will be established; The flying club, model airplane club, model train club, science, engineering and technology clubs. Twice a year we will have an open house at the museum for the public to come and see the imaginative projects the club members have been working on. All club members will be provided and opportunity to fly in our aircraft, and ride in the vehicles. It is imperative that we create interesting educational programs which stimulate the minds of our youth and show them the possibilities which await those who become well educated.

There are more aircraft, vehicles and smaller display items awaiting donation or put on loan to the museum as soon as our building is erected and open to the public.

NEVADA MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY will be open to the public 362 days per year.
